If the power adapter outputs correct voltage and you’ve changed the DC jack, most likely this is motherboard issue.

I have a dv7 6c95dx and have a power issue. The battery is discharged and when I plug the charger into the power port it won’t charge neither will the led light come on. I checked to see if I had power coming in at the plug that goes into the charge port and I have 19.4 vdc. I replaced the charge port but still there is no led light on or power going to the MB. Do I need a new charge port, charger or MB?

Try ebay, that’s where I buy them.
In order to find the correct jack search using full laptop number.
I didn’t have hard time at all but… I’ve disassembled over 10000 laptops. 🙂
