I don't think you can do that.
Dell Latitude E6400 has a 40-pin LCD screen.

You'll have to find a replacement screen that fits your laptop. There are some good options here: https://ebay.to/2OEHy0f

There is no easy way to get rid of the vertical lines and foggy appearance. The screen has to be replaced.

@ Kev,
<blockquote>What is the small board at the top left-hand side that has a cable coming from the LCD harness? Also what is the small board, bottom left-hand corner?</blockquote?
Probably antennas. This laptop has more than one antenna cable. Could be Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas. You can follow the cable and see where it's connected.

Hi,

I'm trying to identify some small boards behind the LCD on a Dell E6410. What is the small board at the top left-hand side that has a cable coming from the LCD harness? Also what is the small board, bottom left-hand corner? I recognize the camera, microphone and antennas.

Hope you can assist.
Thanks, Kevin
