You can remove the keyboard as shown in this guide: http://www.insidemylaptop.com/remove-keyboard-from-gateway-mt6704-model-ma7/
You’ll find the memory slot under the keyboard.

Great, the page linked is gone. Which is why you shouldn’t just link to a page assuming it will live forever. You should COPY the page contents as a PDF…
