Dell Latitude E6410 laptop has a 14.1″ LED-backlit LCD screen installed.
First of all, turn off the laptop and remove the battery.
Very gently insert your fingers between the top side of the screen bezel and screen.
Wiggle the screen bezel and separate it from the display back cover.
Continue separating the screen bezel from the back cover on both sides of the display assembly.
You can use a piece of soft plastic to separate the bezel.
The screen bezel removed.
Remove four screws securing the screen mounting brackets to the back cover.
Carefully separate LCD screen assembly from the display back cover and place it on the keyboard.
Now you can access the laptop video cable which is connected to the LCD screen.
Remove sticky tape securing the connection and unplug the video cable from the screen.
Remove the failed/damaged/broken LCD screen. It’s ready for the replacement.
