Do you have a Dell Latitude C610 or C510 laptop with a defective or broken screen and would like to repair it yourself yourself? Check out this step-by-step screen replacement guide.
Reading through the disassembly guide I noticed that this guide has a lot of similarities with the Dell Latitude C640 hinge replacement guide witch I posted last month.
My comment:
In order to separate the screen bezel from the cover in the part 2 the author was using a flathead screwdriver. I wouldn’t recommend using a screwdriver because you can easily damage the plastic parts. You can easily separate the bezel with your fingers as I did in my guide.
In some cases, when you have a problem with the laptop video but not sure witch part is causing it, it makes sense to purchase and replace the whole display assembly witch includes LCD screen, video cable, inverter, hinges and display cover. You’ll find spare parts for your Latitude C610 laptop here.
