I have a compaq presario v6000 laptop, and recently it has stopped working. When I power it up all the blue lights come on , but the screen won't come on, and when it is first powered up the blue lights will go off for a second every 30 seconds or so. If I put a disk in it you can tell it is spinning. When I touch the volume keys it still ,makes the beep noise like it usually does. It smells fried where my cooling fan is. Does anyone know if a burnt out cooling fan could cause this? Or have any ides why it is doing this and how to fix it? Or know how to take it apart to get to the cooling fan so I could look around in there lol. Thanks!!!!
