I hear what you all are saying, but what happens when my HP is only 3 months old….I am getting the same white/blue screen daily …… it freezes and I have to reboot.

Do not disassemble the laptop yourself. It still covered by HP warranty. Send this laptop to HP for repair.

I’m not going to go to all that trouble when my laptop is still new. If this problem is so prevalent with HP surely it would be an “internal” manufacturer problem.

It is most certainly a hardware issue. I suffered the same problem with a Winbook J4 which I still own.

The solution, soldering down the loose video connector on the MotherBoard.

ahhhh ic. well i looked into a new hard drive and its only like what? 80 bucks lol. that isnt all that bad. i got curious and took my laptops hard drive out. it isnt hard at all. just 2 simple screws and 2 release pins. if i get the hard drive and get everything working i will message again, well i will message again anyway to say whats happening! thanks for your help so far

it only got to like 70% and then it came up with the message failure 107. So i am guessing its harddrive.

If the hard drive fails to pass the test, most likely it’s a bad drive. It’s also possible that there is something wrong with the hard drive controller on the motherboard, but it’s an uncommon failure. I would go with the hard drive replacement first.
Is it just plug and play? Yes, it is but you still have to reinstall the operating system after the replacement.

well i did a harddrive test, and it only got to like 70% and then it came up with the message failure 107. so i am guessing its harddrive. i just did everything u wanted me to do but to no help. the harddrive is prolly fried then huh? anyone know any good sights that i can go to to get a replacement for my laptop. i am assuming its just plug and play right?
