This guide has step-by-step instructions for installing the “bad” key back on the keyboard. The instructions were created for a Dell laptop keyboard but will work for many other brands too.

Toshiba A135 slightly different – pop retaining clip onto spacebar 1st, then position clip ends into holes – then press key onto both mounts until each clicks securely (4 places each)
