i have hp pavilion g 6 series laptop. its warranty will expire April 2012. i want to extend its warranty for one year. what should i do for this?

Call HP. Most likely you’ll be able to buy an extended warranty directly from them if your laptop is still covered by the original 1 year warranty.

I hv persario F700, my problme is everytime i swith on it will stud in compaq welcome logo screen for 20 secounds, than can go to windows.

I hv been reformat hd and release the cmos batter and set boot with hd only…still the same.

Try this. Enter the BIOS and load default settings. Safe and reboot.
Also, I would run test on the hard drive. Maybe the hard drive is failing.

I have a compaq presario v6000 with a boot problem, it boots up and turns off in 20 seconds, but when you turn it off manually for about 2 times it boots up normally. I arleady change the cpu, new thermal paste, I clean the fan etc. I still cant find what it is?

Is your cooling fan spinning at all? Maybe it’s failing when you start the laptop for the first time but somehow starts working when you restart the laptop a few times.
Take a closer look at the fan.

Bought a Presario V6000 for Christmas 4 months ago. Started acting funny last week. Internet programs not responding, Can’t even end task as that will be unresponsive as well. When homepage (any) comes up, and I as start to type or even move the cursor, it locks up and can’t end program. Have tried both wi-fi and direct connections and neither works. Any suggestions?

2. Try reinstalling OS from the recovery disc or recovery partition (I believe press F11 on startup).
3. If the problem still there even after reinstalling OS, this is hardware failure. Send your laptop to HP/Compaq for repair. It should be covered by the warranty.
