I’ve never worked with vpr Matrix laptops myself, never heard about this brand before. I don’t know how many people have vpr Matrix laptops but decided to link to this disassembly guide anyway.
The steps are presented in the way that I take it apart… some steps can probably be done in a different order. If your computer is still under warranty and you need something fixed, I would strongly urge you to take it to your dealer/manufacturer first, if possible.
These instructions can be very helpful to all vpr Matrix laptop owners because it explains how to take the whole thing apart. This disassembly guide was created for a vpr Matrix 120-180B5 laptop and possibly will be the same for other models too.
It looks like two key laptop components, the wireless card and the hard drive are located under the keyboard and the palmrest. So, if your hard drive has failed, be ready to open up the laptop case. Also, it will be necessary to remove the keyboard if you plan replacing the cooling fan, cleaning the heatsink or applying new thermal compound on the processor.
Static electricity can kill your laptop. I recommend wearing an anti-static wrist strap while working with internal parts of your laptop.

The hard disk on my VPR Matrix 180B5 crapped out, and I decided I was sick with Windows XP and installed Fedora as the operating system. Now, I can’t find the drivers for the ethernet adaptor. Can you help me with that>
