Did you connect Wi-Fi card antenna cables shown in the step 4?

Also the sound no longer works any ideas where the speaker connect ?

I pointed to the speaker cable in the step 16. Take a look at the yellow arrow.

Problem is Ctrl & fn key in left side, switched their functionality itself. For an example, if i want to copy any text, now im using fn+c instead of ctrl+c.

Unfortunately, I think this is problem with the keyboard. Apparently traces inside the keyboard got shorted somehow. I think replacing the keyboard is the only solution.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.

the screen doesnt look damaged… 5/6ths of the screen work… yet there is a blank space to the very right. just unused… tried all hp support/ updated drivers .. etc… but still this exists.. when looking at buying a new screen I noticed that the guide said you may not need to replace… im really confused on this please help if you can????

Can you provide a better description?
Does the image look compressed and you can see the entire desktop on the working part of the screen, or the black stripe covers part of the image?
This problem appears only in Windows you you get it even in the BIOS menu?
