In this guide I explain how to remove and replace keyboard on a Lenovo ThinkPad T410s laptop.
The guide also should work for Lenovo ThinkPad T400s and ThinkPad T410si laptops.
My customer spilled water on the keyboard and some keys stopped working. The keyboard had to be replaced.

In this guide I explain how to take apart a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop.
I believe this model also called Inspiron 15R. Also similar to Inspiron M5010 model.
I’m doing this disassembly in order to access and remove the hard drive which is mounted deep inside the laptop.
Dell Inspiron N5010 doesn’t give you easy access to the hard drive. I’ll be removing the keyboard and top cover assembly.

In this guide I’ll be replacing LCD screen on a Gateway NV57H13u laptop.
This laptop has a badly cracked screen which cannot be used anymore.
This guide might work for some other Gateway laptops. If it fits your laptop, please mention the model number in comments after the guide.

Today I’ll be replacing broken (cracked) LCD screen on a Sony Vaio VPC-S111FM laptop.
This laptop also has another model number on the bottom: model PCG-51211L.
It’s possible the guide will fit some other Sony Vaio VPC-S series laptops. If the disassembly guide works for you, please mention the laptop model in comments below.

In this guide I explain how to disassemble an HP ENVY 15 notebook. My goal is removing and replacing failed keyboard (a few keys stopped working).
In HP ENVY 15 notebook the keyboard is mounted to the top cover assembly. After the top cover assembly removed, you’ll be able to access the hard drive, internal memory modules, all three cooling fans and CMOS battery.

In this post I explain how to replace LCD screen in a Dell Studio 1555 laptop.
UPDATE: today I had to replace damaged screen in a Dell Studio 1558 laptop and the replacement procedure was identical to Dell Studio 1555.
In my case the LCD screen started showing horizontal lines and only small portion of the screen still worked properly.
