I have a Toshiba A105-s2716 satellite. At first the screen would start flashing. The screen went black and sometimes gray horizontal lines would appear. It would then turn black and go back to normal. After a week now, the screen will stay black after ten minutes of using my laptop. It works fine with a external monitor, many people tell me that its a hardware issue. My warranty expired so I’m trying to figure out the problem before I have it fixed. I need to fixed my laptop ASAP because i need for college.

I own a Toshiba Satellite A75 notebook and after a while it started experiencing the overheating problems. Even with the laptop raised with plenty of air flow, it still shuts down sometimes.
What type of cooling pad or stand should i get? Is there a certain model that i should get? Should I get someone to open it up and clean it? Would this make a difference?

I have a Toshiba Satellite A65 laptop. It will not boot. I tested the memory – it tests BAD. There is NO additional memory. The additional memory is accessed from a little compartment on the back of the unit. But the unit has 256mb of onboard memory. I assume it’s the permanent memory that’s bad. Is this permanent memory soldered into the motherboard? Or is it replaceable? Is this fixable?

I’m having a problem with the video on my notebook. The right half of the screen shows flickering horizontal lines when showing colors other than white. It’s a Toshiba P35-S609 notebook.
I’ve taken it apart to fix the overheat problem and this started happening shortly afterwords. Any ideas?
