Adding internal wireless card into Fujitsu Lifebook S2020 notebook

These instructions will help you add an in internal wireless card into a Fujitsu Lifebook S2020 notebook.
Today’s notebooks all come with the ability to host an internal wireless LAN card. But cost-sensitive buyers may choose to forego that option and later regret it. But as long as you’re willing to do some homework, our How To shows that it’s not that hard to add a WLAN card yourself.
Lifebook S2020 notebook is “Wi-Fi ready” and has a wireless slot and antenna cables installed, it’s just missing the wireless card. In order to go wireless you’ll have to remove the keyboard and mount the card in the slot located under the keyboard.
You should find two wireless antenna cables under the keyboard in the area of the wireless card slot.
don’t worry about which color antenna cable connects to which connector on the card. With the diversity antenna system used by all wireless LAN cards, it doesn’t matter!
Recently I had to add an internal wireless card to my older Dell Latitude C840 laptop and it works great.

I used an Intel mini PCI card model WM3B2200BG. You can find this card by the model number here for less then $15. I guess this card may work for you too. Install the card and then download driver from the Intel site (I used Wireless 2200BG Network Connection driver).
