You will find instructions for replacing or upgrading RAM (memory) in an Acer Ferrari 3400LMi laptop in this page. Just scroll down to the entry number 17.
This laptop has two memory slots. One of the memory slots can be easily accessed through the door on the bottom of the laptop. The second memory slot is hidden under the keyboard and you’ll have to remove the keyboard in order to get to it.
Acer Ferrari 3400LMi can handle up to 2GB RAM. You can install up to 1GB RAM stick into each memory slot. You should use PC2700 DDR333 memory modules in this laptop.
Static electricity can kill your laptop. I recommend wearing an anti-static wrist strap while working with internal parts of your laptop.

Hi,
Can you tell me where to find the CMOS battery in an ACER Ferrari 3400 on Mainboard Motherboard?).??? If so, where can I purchase a replacement?
ACER said that one is there, but would NOT give me any more information even though I’m one of their Authorized resellers!
Thanks,
John
